Thumb-Size Girl

Fashionable woman walking down the street

Here’s my latest doodle. I messed up the face, but I think I did a pretty good job on the hands (something I normally struggle with).

What you may not realize by looking at my artwork on this site is that most of my drawings and paintings are very, very small. This one, for example, is probably no larger than your thumb.

Halt! It's My Birthday

police officer commanding you to stop

Today is my 27th birthday. Man, I’m getting old. I’m up in Yellowstone National Park right now, which is actually a pretty cool way to celebrate your birthday, if I do say so myself. I’ll post some photos from my trip as soon as I get home… just as long as I don’t get eaten by a bear while I’m up here (fingers crossed).

Lost Creek Reservoir - October Motorcycle Ride

yellow trees along east canyon road near park city, utah

My motorcycle insurance expires at the end of this month and I won’t be renewing it, as I plan to be in South America for the winter and will be putting my motorcycle in storage during the cold months ahead. So, today I decided to take advantage of my bike while I’ve got it and went on a 100+ mile ride out to a place called Lost Creek Reservoir. It’s basically just a big lake located about 50 miles from my home in Park City, Utah. I had never been there before today, however, so it was a fun little adventure. I saw 5 mule deer, hundreds of sheep and cows, and even a couple cowboys on horseback. On the way back from the reservoir, the sun fell behind the mountains and I nearly froze my ass off on the way home. When I got back to my condo and stepped off the bike, I was shaking all over and could barely move my legs. I’ve since turned on the furnace and taken a long, hot shower.
